ABSTRACT:
The tools available to configure recovery from data or service loss are extensive, but this article focuses on tools that are a part of the SQL Server application. No specialized application or hardware is needed to implement these methods. When setup properly, they can prevent data loss on a record, table or database level. The methods discussed are:
- Database Backups
- Log Shipping
- Database Mirroring
